Supported Internships

David started his Supported Internship in January 2019. His work placement is at the Uplands and he attends Futures two days a week.
David is making excellent progress and is doing a great job. He is working on his own initiative and with the help of his Job Coach, Paul, he is growing in confidence. Paul said he has never seen someone make as much progress as David has over the last month.
David works in all weathers and is making the gardens a enjoyable place for the residents to sit in. He is learning how to use the gardening tools and how to ensure he does his jobs in the right order. His Job Coach helps him with organising his tasks and makes sure David completes his tasks in the most time effective way.
