Did you know that three out of four employees have experienced symptoms of poor mental health? (Prince’s Responsible Business Network)

This event will further enhance employer knowledge on how to approach mental health in the workplace.

The event will be hosted by Cllr Lee Chapman and will include first-hand accounts from both an employer and Enable client. It will also include two taster session Mental Health First Aid workshops, in which employers can gain skills to become confident with dealing with mental illness in the workplace. This will provide employers with a deeper understanding of issues that contribute to people’s mental illness and to be able spot the signs and symptoms.

Last year’s event proved to be a huge success with 100% of people surveyed stating that they would recommend the event to a friend or colleague.

“It was just a brilliantly hosted event. I would certainly be interested in having someone from Enable work for me in the future, it’s just a wonderful organisation from what I can see. Well done!”

“The event was contained a powerful message that we should all be looking after each other, in and out of the workplace. Mental health needs to be higher on the priority list for all. Don’t hide it, talk about it and provide help to those who need it.”

There will be a free breakfast provided to all attendees.
