Ben Gillham - RESTART Senior Employment Officer

Over the past five years with Enable, I have progressed through a number of roles, starting as an Employment Officer supporting individuals to overcome barriers and move closer to employment. I then moved into an Employer Engagement Officer role, working closely with employers across Shropshire to create opportunities for jobseekers and helping to develop partnerships with training providers to enhance the support available to participants.

Following this, I progressed to Support & Partnership Manager, leading on partnership development and service delivery to ensure individuals had access to high-quality employment and skills support. Today, I work as a Senior Employment Officer on the Restart Programme, where I manage a team of Employment Officers, oversee the Training Team, and lead the Digital Skills Programme.

I am passionate about helping people develop their confidence, skills, and employability, while working collaboratively with employers, training providers, and local partners to create opportunities that support individuals into sustainable employment.
